Lisa, the founder of CRIS has recorded literally thousands of EVP voices. Of these voices there are various types that come through. Some are what appear to be of a lower nature and occasionally threaten Lisa or members of the CRIS group. Often these negative sounding voices are recorded in locations that have been abandoned for long periods of time. Many are recorded in basements or underground facilities. What makes a voice threatening can be simply the way the sound is projected or the message that is contained or both. The EVP posted on this page to the right will definitely make one understand that many of these non local voices or entities are very aware of what is taking place when we go in to research a site. Often they are combative, challenging and just plain hateful with their comments. The question of them being demonic is quite subjective. Every person has their own definition of evil and will have to decide whether or not these beings are nefarious. The CRIS Group does not operate from a stand point of fear. Lisa believes that being fearful only empowers these beings and we are simply there to document paranormal activity not engage in a pissing match.
The first EVP was recorded during an investigation at the Merchantile Building in Guthrie, Oklahoma on 2-10-2007. A male voice taunts Lisa and says " Hold me back...I want to fuck with her "
The next EVP was recorded at the same location as above in the basement area. A creepy male voice says what sounds like " The Devil is a teacher " [class B]
The next clip was recorded in a vacant home in Noble, OK. Lisa asks " Do you like it here ? " and then the recorder is completely taken over for about five minutes by what sounds like garble. This type of garble was also recorded at the Mercantile Bldg. in Guthrie as well. At first, the garble sounded like a malfunction but Lisa slowed this segment down by 400% and found many voices talking non stop.
The next clip was what one of the voices amidst the garble had to say. A male voice says " Turn off the tape recorders I warned you all right " [class A]
