Lisa and Emily of CRIS contact investigations along with Ron Director of PROS investigated this historical site on Feb 3, 2007. The building was designed by the famous architect Joseph Foucart and his office was located in the apartment above the store on the third level of this building. Click on the link to read his amazing story and his mysterious disappearance in 1907.
The owner occupant of the building had many stories to tell of paranormal activity in the apartment above her store. Although she had never personally experienced anything unusual she said that former tenants and guests had reported strange events mostly in the master bedroom of the historic flat. One gentleman stated he woke up to find a female ghost in bed with him. He said he could see the indentation in the mattress where she was positioned. A guest of our client had reported the cabinet doors [which one needs a ladder to get up to] were found open the next morning after sleeping in the room. These doors had rarely ever been opened due to the height of the cabinets near the 18 ft ceilings.
The photos below were taken during an investigation in an upstairs flat above a gift shop in Guthrie. If you look closely you can see a full bodied apparition in one of the photos and what looks like a man's face with full beard in the forefront. The image was captured in a mirror in the main living area. Lisa took these photos using her new camera techniques which involve slowing down the shudder speed and using a blue filter on the flash.
